Why am I feeling so anxious




Whew!! Anxiety can be a straight up struggle and a mess. When you have anxiety, you may feel nervous or worried about things that others don't seem to be bothered by.Having anxiety can affect all areas of your life, from your schoolwork to your relationships to your ability to enjoy activities you used to love. You may find yourself avoiding social situations, feeling like you can't breathe, or experiencing panic attacks. It's important to know that anxiety is a real and treatable condition, and that there are ways to manage it. You can use the C.P.R. card steps and talk with an adult you trust for additional help.


Center

Focus on your breath, and count each inhale and exhale. Visualize the air flowing in and out of your body.


Process

Anxiety is a common response to stress or uncertainty, but it's important to recognize when it becomes overwhelming and seek support. It's also helpful to identify triggers and develop coping strategies.


Reset

Say the words: I am capable and in control of my thoughts and feelings, and I can overcome anxiety
