How can I feel better about myself




Check this out, low self-esteem can be a monster to handle. When you have low self-esteem, you may feel like you're not good enough or that other people are better than you.Having low self-esteem can affect all areas of your life, from your relationships to your schoolwork to your mental health. You may find yourself avoiding social situations, comparing yourself to others, or feeling anxious or depressed. It can also lead to unhealthy behaviors, like substance abuse or disordered eating. But the good news is that there are things you can do to improve your self-esteem and feel better about yourself. Try using the C.P.R. card steps to help yourself or a friend.


Center

Place one hand on your heart and the other on your stomach, and take a few deep breaths. Imagine filling yourself with positive energy and self-love.


Process

Self-esteem is how we feel about ourselves and our abilities. It's important to focus on our strengths and positive qualities, and not compare ourselves to others or put ourselves down.


Reset

Say the words: I am unique and valuable, and I embrace my strengths and weaknesses.
